Lughnasadh – Beginning of Harvest season

Today is Lughnasadh, a traditional Gaelic holiday. Lughnasadh is a cross-quarter holiday halfway between the Summer Solstice and the Autumnal Equinox. It is the celebration of first fruits or the beginning of the harvest time.
