My favorite winter photos were all captured in my backyard. When it’s cold out, I don’t want to venture too far. And who wants to drive through snow?
Thanks when I pull on warm pants over my pajamas, put on a thick sweater and an hat to cover my hair (hastily pulled back in a bun), and head outside.
I wonder if this Eagle was looking directly at me as I took this photo.

Sounds like winter will be holding you in its grip a while longer. You may be adding to your wonderful winter collection this week…. so bitter cold- bundle up, stay warm!
You are unfortunately so right. It is so cold and six inches of snow forecast for tonight. Philly isn’t used to this. This aren’t snow-hardened Minnesota. I’ll post photos.
Our photos this week will be on opposite ends of the spectrum. In Portland, Oregon we are expecting sun and 60F weather. I bit warmer than usual for us…
I will keep you and my mom & sister in mind… all in Philly.
