Native Plants Sale are available all around our region. Many plant sales sponsors hold plant sales several times a year. Often the sales are held in the spring and fall.
Spring sales are often held in April and early May. Fall sales in September and early October.
Always check for dates and times.
Big Box stores and chain nurseries have begun to sell native plants. I guess they realized native plants will the most likely plants to be successful in local gardens. I have bought six-packs of Rudbeckia and Echinacea from Home Depot. Who would have thought it? The big boxes have a limited selection of native plants, but that is okay because I rarely buy from them. I like buying from small local nurseries and charity plant sales.
