Plant lists include native and indigenous plant species which provide nectar, food, and hostplants for insects, pollinators, bees, and butterflies. The lists are focused on the seasons, such as spring or summer blooming plants and summer-into-fall blooming flowers. There are lists for native trees for street side locations or backyards.
The list focus on the MidAtlantic region, but are applicable to the MidAtlantic, Northeast, southern Canada, and in some cases the southeastern United States.
I welcome a challenge to create guides using native/indigenous plants for various settings, sun requirements, water needs or purposes. Use the contact form to suggest a topic or native plant focus.
